I have the same exact problem. I've tried unplugging for extended period of time. I'm not going to just shake it. I really don't think I should open it.

    Anybody have a better answer?

my wii isn't working because a game cube game is stuck inside and we are unable to eject it. You can still play the game inside the wii but when ever you try to eject it it makes a loud grinding noise. we have only had it six months. I have tryed turning it upside down, i have tryed taking the power cables out and putting them back in too. I also don't think that the eject button is broken.

Hi - we turned our Wii off with the disk in it and now it wont eject using the eject button on the console. We haven't dropped or shaken the disc console. It used to work and now it doesn't. Help.

We got it to work eventually by using a pin (ie a dressmakers pin). We realised the eject button wasn't clicking when pushed down, so was physically stuck, so used pin to pop the left hand side of the eject button out/up. Works a treat now.

Turn it off and remove power cord wait a min.. plug it back in. If it still doesn't work you may want to disassemble it but you will need a special screw driver. Or if you get really desperate shake it but that might scratch your disc and laser so be careful.

Well, Recently the same thing happened to me, My bro dropped my WII on the floor and the eject button on it got stuck i was soo mad!!!
I tried loads of ways nothing really hard, just follow this and hope fully the WII will eject:

1.Make sure the WII is stood up properly.
2.Then switch on the WII (As i said early the WII won't eject the CD.
3.Now look near the eject button if it is stuck follow (A) or if not coming out follow (B).
(A1).Right if it is stuck and not coming out then the top bendy bit of the eject button put your nail through it and press it down it should eject but after a while it did not work any more for me :(.
(A2).Now, Disconnect all the Cable's in the WII not TV leave it for a while (and don't smash it again!), After a while approx 5 Min's plug 'em back in, switch on the WII then press eject hopefully that will work :D.
(B1).Now if it does not come out either look inside the drive or WII (I don't suggest that) or just do what i did with A2 hopefully that will work.

Hope your WII works by now and enjoy ejecting cd's from your WII but 1 more thing before you go (DON'T BREAK YOUR WII AGAIN OR YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN :P AND IT MIGHT NOT EVEN WORK IF SMASH IT TO MANY TIMES!!! SO BE-CAREFUL!!!!

Nintendo wii console will not automatically accept disk into drive...and will not eject disk.

Turn the system off first, unplug the cord. Wait about 5 minutes. Then try. if it happens again take pen and stick in the disc drive, press the eject button and it will eject the disc. It might mess the wii up but it is worth it to get your game disc out.

I have a brand new game stuck in my wii console how do i get it out

1.Make sure the WII is stood up properly.
2.Then switch on the WII
3.Now look near the eject button...

- Look at the right top bendy bit of the eject button put your nail through it and press it down it should eject.

- If still not ejected after several seconds holding, disconnect all the cable's in the WII leave it for a while (approx 5 Min) and plug it back in, switch on the WII, then press eject.

- If it does not come out look inside the drive and see if the disk can be physically pulled out now.

My Wii Reads Disk, but WONT EJECT IT

If it is still under warranty use the link provided

Nintendo Support

Fill out their form and be very descriptive when asked and they will repair it.

Alternatively you may choose to open the case and examine the damage - This is unadvisable as you warranty will be void and you could further damage the console

Noisy wii console

Hi Sky606, have you tried cleaning the game disk? Have you tried using other game disks in the wii to make sure it's not just one disk that is causing the problem. Do you have a Nintendo Wii CD / DVD Discs and Lens Auto Cleaning System ? If you don't you might want to purchase one and see if that helps, because your wii lens might need cleaning ! If all of that fails, your wii may need repairs, the lens that reads the CD/DVD could need adjustment or replacement ! One other small note,I always have a small external fan blowing on my wii when in use so that the wii wont over heat. Heat kills electronics ! I Hope this advice helps.

Nintendo wii

make sure you put the disks in shiny side facing left.
if the console is on its belly then just remember to face the shiny side toward the sd card slot.
you might want to press eject a few times to clear out the drive.
im no pro so this is the bes help i can give and im sure others can give better help so keep your eyes peeled
