Re: how to install microsd? in samsung a707
Try to figure out all of your songs to be sure it is in right format. Since Samsung cannot recognizes some big file songs the it will ignore them. So double check your song format. Once the MIcroSD had been formatted, there is no further issue with it unless your phone had firmware issue. Good Luck.

I believe your micro SD is corrupted, but don't worry there's a way on how to fix it. SD cards are miniature storage devices used in portable electronics. If the card gives you an error that says it is corrupt, do not be alarmed. You can remove the corruption error by formatting the drive. When you do this, you will erase all of the faulty data off the card, allowing you to save new information.
1.Slide the microSD card into an SD card converter. The converter comes with all microSD cards. 2.Place the card in the computer's SD slot with the metal pins facing downward. 3.Click on "Start," then "My Computer." 4.Right-click on the drive that is labeled "SD." Left-click "Format." 5.Assign the file format to "FAT16," then press "Format."
You can only format a microSD card when it is unmounted.
Unmounting a microSD card-To unmount a microSD card, follow the instructions below: [Menu] >Settings&tools>Press Ok key >SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Unmount SD card
Formatting a microSD card>[Menu]>Settings&Tools>SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Format SD card.
You are probably trying to format a micro-SD card that is greater than 2GB eg, micro-SDHC (High Capacity) of 4GB or bigger are not supported by 'older' devices. Stick to 1Gb or 2Gb standard microSD cards for your device.
your micro SD card may be damaged in some small way, or the card reader is a defect in it, to see which one it is, ****TRY TO BUY ANOTHER SD card, your phone can support up to a 2 GB micro SD card, if it persists, then *********** board in the phone has a defect.
