I don't know what you spent that money on. Methinks you are due a Premium solution, but we Experts are not up to speed on that side of things.

    this is laughable. However, even a single down the line helps with the greater average, no?

    you crack me up. You're question belongs in the help section, not the experts section. I have no idea about your 10 investment. So, if you want, we can escalate this, and you'll find out how this system rewards this sort of thing.

If this is a reply to someone asking for more information, you didn't link this post to your last one, so this post would be like me saying right now "It's a Chevy, how do I fix it?".
Please post a complete and comprehensive question including the make/model/exact problem, when the problem occurs etc ALL IN ONE POST. Thank you.

I have a yamaha htr-6130 receiver. The issue with this unit is it powers on and shows volume: -40db. It is stuck at this settings and does not respond to any command either from the remote or from the...

Your component has digital technology which has a tendency to 'lock up'.A reset solution for your problem is to simply unplug it for 5 minutes and plug it back in.That should fix your problem.If it is easier to pull the circuit breaker,that is fine also.Simply turning it off will not work as it needs the power supply completely removed.Digital components are defined mainly as things which are programmable such as ovens and refrigerators with LCD or LED displays,thermostats,DVR's,answer machines,TV's and much more.Some things which are not exactly programmable but can be reset the same way are video game consoles,modems,battery operated devices,telephones.If it is battery powered,simply disconnect it from the battery or remove the batteries for 5 minutes then retry it.Please do not approve/disapprove this unless you are completely sure that the information I supplied is all that you need because it will cut off our communication link if you do.If you have any questions or need more help,just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.I really encourage responses so I can follow up properly as I know where you stand and asking someone else restarts all the explaining because we cannot see other 'Expert's' responses.Good luck,Greg

Hi there
To better the chances of getting the right answer you should give the brand name and model# of your keyboard, it might also change the classification of your question(it is now posted under receiver).
But without having these info;
Have you tried to disconnect your sustain pedal, it might help you narrow the source of your problem.
And finally for your last question;
When an answer is posted you will receive an email with a link to your question at the address you left.
But you may already know that by now.
Hope this help Happy holidays

I have the Yamaha 5890. I recently had the cable

Check to see if the tech switched your tv's settings for VID 1, VID2 etc, then check the box to see if the right settings are in there, ususlly done with the box off and using the setup or menu buttons with the tv on, lastly see if the box will work as a stand alone hook it up to the tv the old fashioned way and see if it works if s you may need to replace a video cable.

Please update the initial posting and continue the diagnosis there. The initial response is repeated below.

Thanks,

Initial response:

There could be a number of reasons for this. It woyld help if you could indicate what resistors you changed. The circuit designation should be marked on the PC board. Please post those here and I'll look further and provide some possible solutions.

Thanks,
Dan

My problem exactly like the others users posted.

If it's not powering up and you have checked the fuses, it needs to go to service. Bad transistors. Common problem. If this is not your problem, I saw 8 or 9 different types posted. If you can clarify it I can help there as well. Post a comment & we can dig further.Hope this helps
