Check to see if area where spark arcs is clean, the spark wil look for a clean metal surface on the burner and if yours is not clean the spark will not generate for ignition due to dirt from a boil over or maybe a soap pad if you use that to clean. also there are sparker modules on inside of button, may be that it has failed.

Our grill was assembled 1 year ago by home depot. we have used it 5 times since. the first two times it seemed to work perfectly. since it only incompletely heats and has a gurgling sound in the burner...

Turn on the burner that lights with the ignition, watch as the other burners come on, if the flame gets lower as each burner comes on, you probably need to replace the hose and regulator.

My heater is cycling on and off it will run for a while and than the red service light comes on for about 4 or 5 minutes than it relights and runs again

Pull the lower front panel and inspect the top of the burner. If there are ashes and debris on top of the burner, especially near the ignitor, then clean it off.

BTU ratings are usually the Model Number plate which is located in one of three places for Maytag:

2-On left lower front edge of frame with door open
3-Left edge of front oven frame with drawer open

Temperature fluctuates while flow remains constant.(within the pump cut in/out settings) Max temp obtainable 43c

This sounds like a common problem with tankless type water heaters. The modulating burner has a set Btu range it can operate within, a maximum and minimum. With very low flow rates and very low temperature rises, the burner has trouble maintaining a steady output temperature because the btu load drops below the heater's minimum input. Typically the machine will overheat the water beyond it's setpoint, the burner will cut out, and then re-ignite once the output temperature has dropped low enough.
The solution to stopping this behavior is to simply increase the water flow through the device (i.e. higher flowing fixture or larger pump). This type of problem is exaserbated with recirculation systems that bring a very high water temperature to the unit.
Higher end tankless brands have a lower minimum input btu and thus fewer problems with this.

We had a Hayward pool heater (300,000 BTU) with electronic ignition installed just under a year ago. Lately, it displays the IF warning, meaning ignition failure. But the burners do light up for a few...

Use the Hayward website to search for service providers in your area. If the heater is still under warranty you are b4est served to let a Hayward rep come out and fix it at no charge to you.

Be sure to select repair under the purpose for your search.

Most likely a hot-surface ignitor has failed. If it doesn't consume enough current, the gas valve won't open. It's usually a fairly easy fix, once you gain access to the ignitor and have a new one to replace it with. Make sure you unplug the range...

Center burner igniter does not spark.

I had the same issue and it was because the little ceramic starter "button" wasn't either pulled up, or down (I don't remember). The stove is shipped with the piece in the opposite direction it's supposed to be in when operational.

I've got a humming sound coming from my oven when baking. Can you help me solve this problem?

Could be a air flow situation.
Too must air at the burner causing a poor ignition possibly flame lifting situation.
Adjust the burner air
