It may be level but if the feet are not adjusted to be tight to the floor this will cause it to walk so try adjusting the feet then lock the locking nut I am sure you will find 2 that are not adjusted tight enough.

Why does it vibrate excessively, even empty?

It's probably 'out of balance'

Many machines have adjustable feet to take up any uneveness on the floor. If one or more of the feet are out of adjustment it allows the machine to 'rock' .. causing the vibration.

You want your machine to be as level as possible. Try putting a bit of cardboard underneath one or more of the feet to identify which foot needs adjusting

Can the washer be adjusted for excessive vibration?

All washers have to be level if you have excessive vibration then adjust from the bottom. i usually take a level and check from the top. If that dosent work let me know. You might have a different problem Hope it helps

Maytag Washing Machine Out of Balance Even When Empty

the machine is not level... put a level across front back sides to check adjust legs leveling bolts as needed.... also is the machine installed on a carpet floor??? if yes put a sheet of plywood under machine so it wont "bounce" on floor.

Excessive vibration on spin cycle.

Front loaders are prone to vibration problems. Don't want to go into the technical details of why, but it's important that they're placed on very solid surface (preferably concrete or tile), and checked that their feet have been adjusted so that the machine is level. Unfortunately, most people don't have a concrete pad for their washer. One simple option to consider is to provide dampening of the vibrations. This can be done very simply as this one fellow demonstrates. The main thing to keep in mind with this solution is that it is merely trying to dampen the vibrations. Don't be too forceful in your own solution (think lightly touching the top of a vibrating tuning fork with your finger to stop the tone).

Excessive vibration in spin cycle

Be sure the washer is on a solid surface, no plywood or skid platforms. Then be sure to lock in the front levelling legs.

Vibration

just because the level shows it is doesn't mean it really is. check the pedestal first. make sure it is level and all legs are tight and there is no wiggle. next do the same for the machine once it is put back on the base.
