Question about Dell Latitude D810 PC Notebook
Hello, try to reassembly your hard drive, take it off and put it again. On the back of the original drive is a black strip connector. Pull
it off the drive (gently) and place it the same way over the pins on the
new drive (it's keyed so it fits only one way). Without that strip,
the drive isn't connected to the system board so you won't see it.
Be careful - the pins on the drive are flimsy and easily bent or broken.
