Assuming you mean the long cylindrical filter that's in the bag compartment, you just pull it out using the little handle at the bottom. They are sometimes very tight, and you can use something like a screwdriver to lever it out (care not to damage the main casing). When inserting the new filter, lift the little metal lever so it's pushed up behind it (that's just a device that stops you closing the door with no filter in place.
