The phone is coming on,but everytime I slide the phone up and down,the display goes black.

Slide advances OK, but it goes down projects the slide and immediately goes black.....sometimes it will show slide, but top of slide is black or if it shows slide something comes down, and makes the top of...


This is caused by the failure of the slide to drop fully down to the slide stop.

YOU MAY NEED A NEW "FLEX CABLE" OR LCD..THE FLEX CABLE HOLDS THE LCD TO THE BOARD AND ESPECIALLY WITH SLIDE PHONES LIKE THE G1 THEY SOMETIMES COME LOOSE OR GO BAD OVERTIME FROM SLIDING THE PHONE UP AND DOWN TO ACCESS KEYBOARD. CHECK YOUR AREA FOR A TECH.

My nokia n95 screen goes on but freezes all the time and i always get a black screen. the fone is still on but the screen is just black it only comes on when i put the fone into music mode ( when i slide...


your cellphone is fine. Its the strip which needs to be replaced.
actually the strip connects the LCD and the navigation keys.
U might have noticed sometimes your navigation keys also don't work.
get your strip replaced n your cellphone will be fine again.
slide up the phone and you will see 2 screws at the top.
get these screws removed and replace the strip and also do change these screws after the repairing.

When i slide down the blitz phone the screen goes off, and i can't use the phone until i slide it up, whats wrong?


it could be a setting in the display. Go to menu, settings and tools and then display settings. See if the backlight setting is on or if there is a "slide" setting to be changed.
