I am having difficulty connecting to Cisco VPN, could the router be interfering with this

The router could be blocking it. On your belkin router, check to make sure that ipsec vpn pass through is enabled.

Router is not connecting with my laptop in my home or my ipod touch.

Questions:
Did it just start, or has it happened before, if so, how often?
I've found that I have to reboot my Belkin router, usually daily!
What I've found was my wireless headphones were interferring with the wireless channels on my Belkin. I ended up unplugging my wireless headphones while on the internet, then plugging them back when I wanted to use them.
I even went into the router's software and changed the wireless channel to see if that would help, it didnt.
Things that I found to interfere with Belkin Wireless Routers:
1. wireless headphones
2. cordless phones
3. UPS (uninterruptable power supply), (SOME) for some reason it's emitting frequencies within the wireless band of the router.
4. Cable In-House Amplifier
5. Ive had two really weird ones, a microwave oven and a clock radio. I traced those by switching off circuit breakers, until the problem quit.
Work-around Solution, Ive had to move my router as far away as possible from these sources, or these sources away from the router, except of course my wireless headphones, didnt matter where I put it, it still affected the router. Hope this helps.

Cell phone interfers with router takes modum off

You need to change the wireless channel on your router. I believe your router is set to Auto channel. Open the router's setup page by going to http://192.168.2.1 and look for wireless tab. Change the channel to 11 and save the settings. The reboot your router. It should't interfere with your cellphone now.

We have Belkin Wireless Travel Mice FSL017-USB in are school and they are interfering with each other from as far as 30ft away in a class across the hall.

don't use wireless mice from the same company it is bound to have crossed "Wires" so to speak, buy Wired mice instead, they work better in the long run, and have no need for batteries.

My Computer is going toooooooo slow !!!!!!!!!!!!

theres a million things that can interfer with wireless...tin...cell phones, cordless phones and the like..but 11mbps is still really fast and chances are, your internet connection isnt even half that so your speed on the net shouldnt be effected...1mbps is usualy enough to load any website in seconds.
if your PC is slow, not jsut on the internet but in general (starting up, running apps) then its an issue with the pc and not the wireless.
but as a heads up, not trying to be mean, but netgear and belkin are cheap equipment.

Can't connect wirelessly to Belkin Router

have you customized the wireless settings of you router (e.g. ssid, wireless channel, wireless security)? if not, try to change your router's ssid or the wireless channel. it could be that some wireless devices are interfering with your signal.

hope this'll help you.

ciao!

Problem with belkin router

assuming you are connecting wirelessly; you may have to check that the router is allocating ip addresses automatically to your pc's. connect one of your pc's to the router via the RJ45 network cable that was supplied and not wirelessly and type 192.168.2.1 in your internet browser, this will take you into the routers setup menu. Look for a menu refering to 'DHCP' and make sure that this is enabled, then look for the channel number that the router is using (normally 6 or 11) and make a note as if you are still experiencing signal loss, you can get back into the router and change to any channel between these numbers incase you are getting appliances interfering with the signal, save and exit from the router menu. disconnect the cable then go to control panel, network connections and right click on the connection you are using whether it is wired or wireles and click on properties. Look for the line TCP/IP and again click on the line and select properties, then make sure automatically obtain ip address is selected, ok and close window. Restart the pc's and you should have a connection.
