Re: Ask for PUK code of sim card even upon entering the...
PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked. Mobile phones may become blocked when a PIN (personal identification number) is entered incorrectly on three consecutive occasions. In some instances, the phone may become blocked, which requires a PUK to unblock it, and in other instances, the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card itself becomes blocked and again will require a PUK to unblock it.
Mobile phones are also blocked when they are reported stolen and if there is an outstanding payment on the account.
It is important to differentiate between unblocking phones (using a PUK) and unlocking mobile phones (using another type of code). More information on unlocking phones will be available here in the very near future.
NOTE: It is a criminal offence for anyone to attempt to unblock a mobile phone, other than the network provider who put the block on the phone.
If your phone has become blocked by mistake, for example you have entered the PIN incorrectly on three consecutive occasions, then you need to contact the mobile phone network operator with your details. To explain a little more, specific to your mobile phone network, use the links above to navigate your way to the specific PUK details for your mobile phone network operator.

"The PUK code is not related to the handset. It is rather associated with your SIM card. When you enable the PIN in your SIM card, every time you switch on your phone, you will be asked for your pin. At given number of tries provided by your mobile operator, that you have provided the wrong PIN (usually operators set it at 3 tries), then you came to the stage called PUK-blocked. To unlock, you would need the PUK code of the SIM card. The PUK code is usually an 8-digit code. This PUK code should have been provided to you when you purchased your SIM card. Some has the PIN-PUK code printed in the card body of the SIM card, while some attach it as a separate print out. Should your operator failed to provide this PIN-PUK code to you, perhaps, you would have to get it from your operator. Try calling their customer service. Just like the PIN, the operator as well could say how much tries do you have to successfully unblock the PUK of your SIM . The common number of tries set by the operators is 10 tries.. Got it?. What. You have to go to your provider to get the PUK code. If you enter it incorrectly THREE times you will forever block your card and all data on the card will be lost (phonebook) Your best bet is to visit a store rep BEFORE you block your card to keep your data intact.

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do! 1)
If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should
find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please
2) You must get a phone that is on the same network
as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your
PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will
tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to
reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.
