SOURCE: Black particles in clothes after using a top loading samsung fully automatic washing machine

You said these particles stick to the clothes, do they come off and then leave a stain? It may be grease or oil coming from a leaking drum bearing seal.
If it is, This is a major repair and not one for DIY.

SOURCE: water is not flowing into the machine

There are a couple of possibilities:

  1. Are the hot and cold valves open?
  2. If there are filter screens in the lines, are they clogged?
  3. If set to warm, does any water flow at all?
  4. If there is no water flow, first check the water level switch to see if it is working...this is located on the bottom of the machine...it is generally round and has a tube running to the tub and two or more wires.  It should have closed contacts to let the water valve work.
  5. If there is some water flow, the valve is likely bad or the supply is clogged.
  6. If the switch is continuous, the problem may be the timer.
  7. Is the water temp switch good?...unlikely.

We have a whirlpool duet dryer that is approx 10 years old, that, during the spin dry cycle sounds like the drum is coming loose and about to fly through the top at any time. Matters not if its a smal

Grab the drum from inside and see how much free up and down play there is. If there is any and its noisy/rough when turned then the main support bearings for the drum have given up. Its a tricky but straightforward job for a good DIYer, if not its one for an appliance shop but bear in mind the cost of a new machine, the cost to have it done or the cost of a new bearing assy and some bad language from the home mechanic.

Whirlpool washing machine water not hot enough

This so called "energy saving" ...That's why they build in this nonsense. Some dumbo in some office somewhere just thought it up thinking that will save the energy. I fact ,that way I have to wash same stuff twice because water is not hot enough ...

My MAV8600AWW top load washer makes a loud steady squeal whining noise in spin cycle. Load size doesn't affect noise. Machine is 7 years old. Any guess as to problem?

Maytag had problems with the berrings on the transmission . water gets in and the berring goes bad rorring as it spins. Dump it and get a Whirlpool.

Whirlpool Calypso top loading washing machine displays a LF (long fill) error code

I would check the water inlet valve first. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the valve. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris and check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity will mean a bad solenoid and the inlet valve assy will need replaced. I will attach a photo for reference. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Whirlpool toploader gearbox/clutch removal

Last Night I took the machine apart to find clutch/brake assy ok gearbox was also ok then I noticed shaft coupling was different than new part I had in stock, new part made totally of nylon, old part fitted to machine has steel insert built into nylon. this was not fully located onto motor shaft and the first 1/4" of motor shaft had been stripped back to round ( no flat faces) also inside the steel lined bore of the nylon coupling had been worn to round.I replaced with new coupling of nylon and ensured both nylon parts fully pushed home onto motor shaft and gearbox shaft with any freeplay / gap being allowed in the rubber drive link. This has worked for now but expect trouble in future with worn motor shaft.
