Question about SanDisk Sansa Fuse MP3 Player

Fuze locked up and failed this morning

Playback on a 6-month old Fuze 8gb locked up and failed this morning. Was working fine, then playback stopped mid-song. The screen is blank, the blue light around the control is lit permanently, and the device is unresponsive to any controls, including on-off, and does not recognise when it is connected to my PC. Completely frozen.

Did you try resetting it? Slide and hold the Power switch for about ten seconds until it resets, then release the switch.

My OPPO -95 BVD in audio playback began losing it's left channel playback in two channel stereo mode operation

The electronics in that channel are failing, the intermittent scratchy sound is classic symptoms of internal transistors failing in manner called 'thermal runaway'. If I am right it probably works better when its cold and gets worse as it warms up, and when you turn up the volume. It will be cheaper to replace the appliance than repair it. Buy the cheapest supermarket item you can, because any appliance that takes in optical disks will not last more than a few years, usually they stop playing discs before the electronics fail.

When i playback music on my 4 mo. old Sansa Fuze, the music will stop and, if i'm lucky, will start again a few seconds later. first i thought it was in the recording that I was causing some problem, but...

hey, try for the warrenty, this could be a defect. other things you can try is
1.) formatting the player
2.) upgrading the firmware (check the manufactures website for your player, its usually in the manual)
3.) replacing the mainboard (get one from the manufactures site)

If those fail then there is littile you can do next to buying a new one. Repairs to the device itself isnt possible from home or a smallelectronics shopt. it can only be done by a service center.

I had this issue on my work computer. Works fine on other computers, your computer probably has a lower spec video card that cannot comfortably handle playback of full hi definition video. Upgrade your video card.

Centon or sandisk

The Sansa Fuze has superior audio quality. It also accepts microSDHC cards, which means you can expand the capacity to 20GB. The Sansa Fuze supports more audio formats than the Craze.

The Sanza Fuze is rated for up to 24 hours of playback time, although people state they tend to get between 19 and 21.

Olympus DS30 voice recorder play speed issue

Hi, the solution to the problem seems to be the following. When u press play, once, you get 1x play. If whilst playing you press play a second time the DS-30 goes into slow play mode, and if you press a second time it goes into fast mode. For those of us who accidentally went into either fast or slow mode, just press the play button again, during playback, until "play" appears on the LCD screen. Apparently it is as simple as that.
