Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I would usually suggest, looking at the power brick light, if its red, that's your problem,or if you are playing with a plug and play kit to disconnect it, or to see if there are any bent pins in the usb ports, that are shorting your console, this is the first place I look and it usually is a bent pin, I would still check these but the fact that the console was knocked and it went off immediately does suggest an internal resistor fault, there are a few it could be, so it would probably be best to book a pro repair center rather than have a go yourself.
Remember thumbs up if this helps.
