I have bad road noise after 40 mph. This started after changed tires and both front boots and axles

to possible answers
the axles are new and the cv joints mat be firm resulting in noise transmission through failing engine mounts ( unlikely but possible )
the tread pattern may be the cause of the noise especially if the tyre pressure is incorrect
Take it back to the shop and take them for a road test to see if they can find the reason
when drive axles have to replaced , it generally means that the front lower arms have to be disconnected so a wheel alignment may also be in order

the drive couplings on the end of the drive shafts are noisy but not worn out so ignore ,make sure the rubber boots are not split and in good condition,if the boots are perished and split then replace them and whilst the coupling is off i always stip then by turning and moving teh cage do teh balls come out then wash in diesel and refit so the balls are in different positions ,repack with grease and then after rubber boot is pushed up the shaft refit the coupling and i always buy some big jubille clip for a chimney pipe from hardware shop and use these instead of them plastic tie things as they always come off allowing dirt back in ,if after cleaning and fitting a new boot they still make a noise just ignore it as its not dangerous or life threatening ,just a pain listerning to it .

I have the acer aspire 5532 and windows error recevery keeps coming up please advice. It makes a weird noise and a blue screen pops up that says a problem has occured......

You will have to do a repair of your windows installation. You need to boot on your Windows DVD and do a "Repair" install. OR if you have System Recovery in the PC then you should try that first. Also you could try booting up in SAFE mode, press F8 before it boots, and when, if? it boots to desktop you could either troubleshoot, or restore your system to another time using system restore.

CRV has knocking sound coming from rear passenger side

inspect the braking system for warped or uneven rotor surface, as this may cause this noise and uneven pad wear. CV joints also could cause this if the boots are torn, have insufficient grease, are damaged,or have worn bearings. Hopefully this helps

Hi Saniple, more than likely those are beep codes and should give us an idea of what is going on. Typically there is a specific pattern of long and short beeps. If you can identify them for us we can start the troubleshooting process
