When widows is starting, tap F8, this will put the machine into safe mode. log in as the administrator and create a new user profile by going to control panel then Users and add user. Now re start and log in as the new user.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Firstly power down the system. You will need to unplug the CMOS battery from your motherboard for approx 5-10 minutes, then plug it back in. The CMOS battery looks something like this:

Black screen w/blinking cursor

So.. you can select safe mode? Or you turn it on and it is resuming into the blank screen?

If the latter. Unplug the power, pull the battery out for 20 seconds or so. Then put it all back together and try booting up.
