Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
Unplug unit. Remove bottom front panel. The panel is held on by three screws. there will be a drain cap in plain view. Open it with a wet/dry vac and towels close by. Clean out the drain catch. If clean, use wet/dry to **** air through the drain nose and then blow air to check for obstructions. If clear and F21 error occurs again, go through previous steps and then remove the top of the black boot that is behind the drain and connected to it. Disconnect it from the tub side and check for blockage there. These steps should resolve approximately 98% of F21 errors.
Be very attentive to what goes into the washer!
