SOURCE: HP Deskjet F4280 Ink Level

Hi,
when you refill the cardtridge, you can not reset the ink level... because refilling doesn't show the ink levels.. you no need to worry. if ink is there in the carttridge it will print...
Shouldn't worry about it. They are only a rough guide. The only time to worry about it is when the printer stops working and it has told you it's run out of ink! Thank you.......

Printer indicator keep on blinking even with ink

Open printer door, remove cartridges one at a time to see if that clears the error. Also power cycle the printer to see if the blinking changes.

My hp deskjet 845c won't print pink. I've tried two different ink cartridges and no pink ink. Is my printer probably on it's last leg? I have also tried cleaning the print heads...didn't help.

Are you using HP factory new cartridges?

If you are using third party or worse, refilled cartridges, that may well be the cause of your proiblems.

Cartridge light blinks

Try cleaning the print head first in the software options on the printer and then lightly with a qtip and alcohol or electronics cleaner. The ink jets sometimes dry up and cause the nozzels to get plugged.

It was suggested that I buy a new printer cartridge for my HP Deskjet 845c rather than use a refill, which causes the cartridge light to blink. I did go out and buy new cartridges for both color and black...

i dont know if anyone has logged this, but i would think that logically the lights would continue to blink until it detects the right amount of ink density and If they are chipped that the chip registers correctly. Ttry installing just one of the cartridges ( the cheaper one)

It probably has, the printer might not detect your cartridges properly, try using new ones

Internal test page fine, external prints black in blue

before you print, you have to check your options.

For example, if you want to print black and white, when you select PRINT from the menu, you click on PROPERTIES to the right side or bottom side, depending on which windows you use, then select grayscale/black and white, etc in the options that will follow to correctly use your ink, you can always REMOVE the ink from your printer as you only want to print black and white or non color pages.

I hope this helps you.
