According to the Installation instructions the gas conversion Instructions should be located on the back of the range in the assembly kit.

You might nee to buy the offices though.

look at number 16 in this picture ,,, you adjust the nut on each till the flame is right to set it for LP / gas thanks

That model range should have adjustable orifices, one for each burner and one in the oven. According to your question you want to go back from LP to Nat gas. If that is so, right now the orifices will be turned down all the way. For Nat gas the orifices have to be turned counter clockwise back to their original positions which is usually about half way up the threads. Same for the oven valve orifice. One other thing that has to be done is the regulator needs to be set back to Nat gas. On top of the regulator will be a removable nut which you unscrew and flip the inside piece to Nat gas. If you are intimidated by any of this better to have a technician come out and do it. You do not need any parts to convert this back to Nat gas.

Gas stove need to switch to propane

Hi,

Hotpoint supplies the orifices and instructions with each range for converting. It is just that it is hidden, they attach it to the gas regulator. The regulator is near the bottom back typically. Here is a cut out from your use and care manual.

CONVERTING TO LP GAS (or converting
back to natural gas from LP)
This range leaves the factory set for use with natural
gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion
must be performed by a qualified LP gas installer.
The conversion instructions and LP orifices can be found
attached to the range next to the pressure regulator.
Keep these instructions and the orifices in case you want
to convert back to natural gas.

Can this gas range be converted to lp gas maytag performa

moz-screenshot.pngmoz-screenshot-1.pngTurn off the gas supply.
Locate the gas valve regulator. Unscrew the top cap on the regulator, turn it over and re-install it.It should be marked NAT. LP.When correctly converted you will be able to read LP.
On the Performa all the conversion parts should just be adjustments. Remove the oven racks, remove the oven base pan, remove the oven flame spreader pan to access the safety valve. Take a 1/2 inch open end wrench and tighten the orifice on top of the gas safety valve. Tighten it until it is snug.Remove the top burners and raise the top to access the surface gas valves.Tighten the valve spuds until snug. Re-assemble all parts.Turn the gas back on and lite the burners. Turn them high and low to make sure they stay lit. If any burner is not right tighten or loosen the orifice spud for that burner only. All air shutter adjustments should be full open,

Swithed to LP

Natural Gas has a pressure at about 1/4oz psi. Propane runs at a much higher pressure 8 psi to 15 psi. For your safety do not use the oven until it is garenteed that the oven is rated for LP Gas!
Hope, this helps, Sea Breeze

Converting a GE Profile Gas Range from LP to natural gas

GE ships gas ranges set for natural gas, with the LP orifices included, usually on a metal tab held with one screw right near the regulator (where the gas connects to the range). If the range was converted to LP, the person who did the conversion was suppose to put the natural gas orifices back in that holder. If they are missing, comment back on the exact model number and I can look up the part number(s) for you.
