I had it explained to me that there is bacteria or mold or whatever growing in the a/c system that causes the smell. Have been told you should turn off the a/c for about 5 minutes before you stop the car to prevent or minimize this but if this doesn't work you can put some sort of liquid in the a/c system somewhere to try to kill the cause of the smell.

My microwave is steaming and my whole house stinks. how do i stop the smell and is my microwave broken or is it alright to use?

I guess the question is, what kind of smell is it? Is it like rotten food? Is it like burned wires? If you are not sure, ask a friend to help you identify the smell. Any burned smell is telling you "Get rid of the machine RIGHT NOW before it catches fire".
Other smells that are not so bad can sometimes be helped with a good "airing out" and the addition of a pile or box of baking soda inside to absorb the smell. Do not turn the machine on with the baking soda inside. Air it out outside or in an area that is not living space.
God bless your efforts.

I have a ready heater pro 100 and it fills the room/garage with a gas that burns the eyes and really stinks??? It is propane???

Could be escaping gas. Gas providers usually ensure the gas they supply smells bad so leaks are difficult to ignore. I have never experienced stinging eyes from the gas though.
Stinging eyes and possibly a dry and scratchy throat sound more like a heater that is burning inefficiently and producing excessive amounts of soot and carbon monoxide and probably other foul and potentially dangerous substances in addition.

All heaters produce such gases and should not be used without ventilation but when a heater is in a good state of repair and burning efficiently the emissions and the ventilation required are minimal.

From your description it would seem something about your heater is faulty and you should not be using it until it has been checked and declared fit to be used, when you should find it no longer stinks or makes your eyes sting.

One thought, if you have a dog about the place that has spent all summer marking his territory on your heater, it will stink, really stink, and make your eyes sting for a considerable time...

I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Dryer that started giving me problems. It started with a funny smell (kind of like the burnt varnish smell others talked about). Then it stopped working (timer still...

Have you checked for singed wiring. That stink you described, has a way of lingering. If your unit has a removable panel, you may be able to use your own nose to help pinpoint the source of it, if something is still trying to burn out. Electronic components also have the "stink" when they fry. If it were me, and that thing dies again, I don't think I would attempt to resuscitate it again. I've found some really good, servicable dryers on "Craigslist". Best of luck!

I would call out Maytag as it looks as if an insulator on the motor is burning out.

Or a connector is overheating

Get it checked in case you have a fire
