Question about Coleman Propane Forced Air Heater w/Electronic Ignition (50,000-80,000 BTU)

I have a coleman evcon model dgat070bdf furnace. As soon as the furnace fan kicks on the burner shuts off. Any ideas?

Hi check the flame sensor is clean also check out the pressure switch , and check air filter is clean

If this is a hot surface ignition system, the sensor may also be your igniter.

When the furnace shuts down, blower kicks on and off


Probably residual heat kicking the fan limit control on and off. Readjust the settings on the fan limit control.

Sometimes the fan inside comes on but outside unit isn't running


Its likely a computer generated time delay so the refrigerant can equalize pressure. Its a safety working properly.if people are fighting over the temp, and it shuts off and someone turns it down to soon, the result you described is normal, even essential.

Draft fan keeps on running after furnace shuts


That sounds pretty normal for most furnace/heater products. They run the heating element with fan for a cycle then after the heater reaches temperature it will shut off and the fan will continue to run to cool the element and to circulate the heat that it produced.
