In internet explorer, go to File|Page Setup. In the bottom right section of the Page Setup dialog box you'll see drop down boxes under the footer. Click on the down arrow beside the drop down each drop down box and select what you want printed on the bottom of your printouts. Similarly, you can do the same for the header as well.

Depends on your bank's website. Usually, you can click a "Statement" link, pick the date or date range you need, click the "View" or "View PDF" link.

I would like a copy of my bank statement

there are 2 ways to copy it from the website :
1) if you have windows 7 , follow these steps : start , programs , accessories , snipping tool
by using snipping tool you can put a frame around the statement then click to pick a copy of the bank statement website .

2) and it is more easier , you can convert the website having your bank statement to pdf file which can be saved in your computer .
hereis the link of the program online
http://www.web2pdfconvert.com/

3) you also can download program print website to pdf
http://www.dopdf.com/

it is very helpful that while you are in any website page , you can right click mouse and press print , then choose from printer option (dopdf ) , this will save any webpage as pdf file ( adobe acrobat )

If your bank statement is not in the Quicken format, you cannot do that. Best see if it will download into MS Excel. If not, get in touch with the Bank

Printer only prints top and bottom lines on page

All web based documents, especially bank statements, require a COLOUR cartridge, so if your cartridge is empty, it will print blank pages. Although the font may look black... it is normally NOT. Altentaively you may also need to instruct your printer to print "background images".

I print lots of pdf files from my computer (running Windows 7 Ultimate) with my HP 1018. However, I have downloaded banking statements from my bank's website in pdf format and whenever I attempt to print...

PDF files have the capability to be locked by the creator of the document to not allow printing or editing. It is possibly this is the cause of your issue. You can try to bypass this security by converting it with an online service such as this (http://docupub.com/pdfconvert/) and convert it back to a PDF format. This will often remove the protection and allow you to print the document.

When I copy my bank statement into a word doc and try to edit it, it locks up for 30 seconds or so every time I press enter to move a line of print down. Should I remove and download my office 2007 again?

Hi, If it only happens with your bank statement then the problem is not with Word. Try pasting the statement into the document using the "Paste Special" option and paste as Text or other format.
Try to see if there are any hidden lines in the document.
