Generally the answer is probably no, especially if you have a family, children, dog and neighbors.
Propane burns Hotter and has more pressure than natural gas.
Burner must be more robust cast iron.
Orifices must be changed to accommodate different gas.
Different gas control valve needed.
In some cases there are dip switch changes for type of gas and altitude above sea level ... the higher the elevation, the hotter gas burns.
Here is expected result from changing NG to LP.
But your good luck might lead to less volatile result

So there is no kit, but can it be converted. The black pipe and copper pipe is a connection issue, and should not have an effect on changing out the regulator and orifices. The NG unit's heat exchanger is surely copper or stainless.
