Question about Sony Ericsson Walkman W810i Cellular Phone
Transfer phone contacts/names/numbers from your cell phone, to the computer, with USB cable, and an inactive smartchip.
The cell phone is not in use or connected for service. The computer will not recognize it for the contact list, but it does recognize the memory stick pictures.
I already downloaded the PC suite from Sony Erricson.
Help please! Thank you.
Since you say that your computer can read your memory card, you could try puting a sim into your phone temporarily and then backing up your contacts onto your memory card...sony ericsson phones do provide you with that option. The procedure is: Phonebook--options--more--advanced--back up to memory card. Hope it helps, Rushil

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Watch as transfer begins automatically with the ActiveSync program. This will transfer your stored phone numbers from your computer to your Samsung BlackJack cell phone.
