Where is speaker on alcatel cell phone?

? Microphone? For the other person to hear you the microphone on the phone must work. You cannot adjust that. For you to hear them you need a speaker on your phone. You can adjust the volume of the speaker on your phone. If callers cannot hear you try putting your phone on the speaker, rather than handset mode so it becomes a speaker phone. Then, while talking to someone to test the phone, try holding it in different ways to see if you are covering the microphone with your fingers. Without knowing what model of phone (specifically) you have I can't figure out where these are located on your phone. You can google the model though and locate them yourself easily.

HOW CAN I TURN UP THE VOLUME ON HANDSET. VOLUME IS SO LOW CALLERS CAN NO HEAR ME

There is no outgoing (microphone) volume control, if it is only your set try the handset from different extension. The microphone element may have been damaged (especially if dropped) and have to be replaced. Replacement handsets are not hard to find. If everyone on your system claims that callers cannot hear them, there are some settings on the central switch (KSU) which might help, but only after ruling out a problem on your particular set.

I can hear callers but they cannot hear me

Well, you should indicate what type of mobile you have.anyway, to give an idea about this problem is your phone microphone maybe damage, they are some ways to identify microphone,it can be detachable, connected on a flex connector or a built-in mic that is attach and resoldered on the main board,it is a metal made can be circle or rectangular in shape. if you can not do it on your own or you don't have any parts for replacement, just bring the phone to any mobile service shop near you, they will diagnose and fix the problem as well.

6230i - Callers cant hear me speaking

Make sure that the microphone is not in the mute mode. Read the instructions for your phone, or fish through the menus to find where the setup is for the microphone default if the phone has this option.

I have also seen the microphone go defective in these phones.
