Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier
I am trying to reconnect our copier to our network after moving it to another building and cannot get it back online. PLEASE help!!!
Have the IP addresses changed ?
Is the copier set with auto IP ?
If either is Yes you will need to set the machine IP address.
Set the IP-Subnet mask-Gateway adresses
you can do this by pressing the additional functions button
( the* button That is in a circle)
then id management (bottom L/H col)
then network settings (2nd to top R/H col)
then protacol settings
then TCP/IP settings
Then change these settings to the desired settings
Then go to your computer and make sure the print driver has
the same settings
Go to your computer
Go to START
Go to CONTROL PANEL
Go to PRINTERS and FAX
Then either change or check settings or add a new printer
