A friend asked my to look at his bike. He blew it up and replaced piston... ran for 5 weeks and blew again. Got another piston and ring and it had NO compression . Long story short.. I ordered a NEW...

Hi,,ok that is a lot of wasted money spent,,the power valve plays little role in compression,,the FIRST thing to do is remove the flywheel and check the crank seal,,the compression has to be going somewhere,,,and the stator side crank seal is almost allways to blame(blows engines real fast,,sucks air, motor runs lean and bang!)

good luck

2004 600 twin sportsman over heating even when fan is on antifreeze shoots out the top of the resivor, new cap 13lb,could it be the pump ? does not leak from weep hole? top hose hot bottom cold.rad flows...

i had my 400 liquid sport blow a compression ring on the head gasket and it shot coolant out of the resivor because i was pressureizing the cooling system with the piston compression tho not a four stroke but it sounds like a head gasket. fan running on battery i made it 25 miles in upper penn of michigna befor i blew it completely and warped the head (white smoke) and the whole time it was shooting cooling out of the over flow cap pulled the head off milled it new head gasket and it was fine

Pol xlt running lean on pto side. I changed all

I would jet the lean side up one jet size if the sled is running extremely lean. You can also adjust the needle up if you can without having to increase jet sizes.

My polaris Predator 500 2005. it blew a rubber valve cover gasket looking thing.OIL literaly blew 15ft and sprayed EVERYTHING in my garage. wondering what could have caused this before i tear it down....

if its a valve cover gasket that blew like that you could have major problems

Could be that it leaned aout and burnt up a cylnder or a piston, and you have major blow by now.

97 mustang overheating and blowing cold air

Get a compression check to find out if you have a bad head gasket, I have a 96 with the 3.8L that had the same problems at first. then it started to blow out antifreeze thru the expansion tank, the head gasket finally blew the rest of the way going down the highway

My 316 bmw se has water everywhere!!!

Sounds like a head gasket or a crack in the head/block. Try some block seal from the local parts store, sometimes it works well.
