Hi, I own a Apex gb 5108 TV, remote control is lost, can you tell me if any brand of "universal" controls will work on my TV? In my country there are not to many options...

universal controls dont work well with this tvs to change channels you have to go up or down you cant select a channel because of the button on the original control it has to be put in how many digits you want the best thing is to order a new one

Re: Sony Bravia remote problems

Hi,
sounds like you need to "autoprogram" your channels. In the customer menu search for "settings" (looks like a toolbox) select that, arrow down to "channels" select that, you'll see option for "autoprogram" select that. Any channel it sees it will lock in and you shouldn't have to press numbers anymore.

My tv is changing channels on its own and when i turn the tv off, it turns back on...seriously.only way to stop it is to unplug the tv.

Hi,
Though you have not mentioned model and brand of your tv so I can offer a tip only here.
Check in what order tv changes its channels, like if its in forward order, +Preset or +Channel knob would be stuck. If its changing in reverse order, check -Channel knob at front of tv.
Hope this info would be helpful.
Thank you.

Tv needs to warm up?

I would suggest re-soldering your tuner connections and see if that helps. solder cracks tend to "fix" themselves after they warm up. Try the solder first but also look for evidence of a capacitor that may be swelled or leaking near the tuner. That is a possibility also.Hope this helps, let me know if you ned any further assistance.
