I would say you have the wrong staples. Make sure they match your model.

My brand new stapler suddenly stopped folding the staples. It just shoots out singles; good for bulletin board posting-not for stacks of papers. Can this be fixed?

The item on the bottom that folds the staples has two positions. Press it up from the bottom and swivel it 180 degrees to folded staple setting.

How to shoot staples out of a trutac staple gun

Hello, there. The TruTac (TT50) is a bottom load staple gun. This video on the TruTac (TT50 and TT21) may help to answer this and other questions: http://bit.ly/1Xv7jeZ. Once the staples are loaded, keep the tool flush with the surface while stapling. What part do I need to remove to make a bostich MIIIFS floor stapler to shoot 2 inch staples

You shouldn't have to do anything to the MIIIFS flooring stapler to shoot 2" staples. It is designed to shoot 1 1/2" to 2" staples right out of the box. If your stapler won't feed 2" staples, check the magazine all the way up to the power head for any foreign material that may hold up your staples.

I can't seem to reload staples into this stapler. I used the staples that came with it and it worked fine. I try reloading and it doesn't staple.

With the stapler sitting a solid surface, turn it 180 degrees so it is pointed away from you, and you are looking at the back. Press down on the plastic extension that you see (about mid-height on the stapler). This releases the staple-holding compartment (it shoots out the front of the stapler). Reload it with standard staples, push the compartment back in place until you hear a click. Voila!

The info on the gun says it will shoot many different staples, but it will only take 3/8 staples and I need to use 1/2 staples to do the job.

The T50P stapler uses T50 staples of various lengths, including 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. Is it possible that the 1/2 inch staples you are trying to use are not T50? All T50 staples are the same width and should fit your stapler. There are several other widths of staples that are not T50, although T50 is the most common.

The gun will only set crown staples half way. Also, it has begun to shoot two staples at once from time to time. How can I fix it?

Begin with replacing orings and gaskets. and oil internal parts. check all air fittings for leaks and that should take care of it.

Stapler constantly shoots out staples even when there is nothing to staple.

There is a contact switch / lever on the staplers that engages the stapler when it is pressed. It must be stuck. locate the lever and see if that's the case, and release it if you can. just my 2 cents, because I'm a copier/fax tech -not a stapler expert :)
