Question about Dryers
What I do is pop the top with a putty knife.
I can then get to the screws holding the front on. I get the front off and remove the rear hatch. I release the belt and get the drum out. Then I remove the pan from the rear of the dryer.
I get the old element out of the pan and I clean out the fluff. I gently connect the new coil to each standoff being careful not to GAP the coils. Note the coils must be evenly placed or a hot spot will occur and the life of the element will be greatly reduced. Failure to remove lint/fluff from the unit will cause a hot spot also. Nothing to it. I have photos with part numbers and manual HERE

Good morning friend, thank you for your post!
I see you are trying to change the heating element on your Frigidaire Crown dryer. I am unable to locate any video to assist in this replacement but I would advise that these intricate parts do require precision and patience, therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. One must be very careful as these replacements can lead to potential harm. -Matt
