Display not working G5

If its a PowerPC G5, Then first check display with another computer or you can connect another screen to your G5 Mac if you have a dvi port on the video card. It's most probably either the monitor or video card. Sometimes it might be defective ram.

How do I install 10.5 .dmg to a 10.4.11 to upgrade?

You need to have the DMG file on an external drive connected by firewire to your G5.You may need to install the 10.4.11 system onto the external HD first though. Having the dmg on the same drive that you are trying to install onto will not work as the installer will be trying to install istself into itself.
You might find that if you use disk-Utility (Utilities folder) and make a DVD from the dmg that you can start the G5 from that DVD and them the install will work. Might have to experiemtn though - it's a while since I've done one so my memory is a little hazy.

Why does my iMAC 4,2 reject blank DVD-Rs but plays burned DVDs?

Your machine has a DVD-rom drive, but not a DVD-burner. There is a difference.

Basically, you can read and play the DVD's, but the drive is not capable of burning them.

Your best bet beyond maxing out memory will be upgrading to an SSD. Depending on your operating system and versions of installed software, try using a program like XSlimmer to remove any powerpc files included in universal bundles.

How to speed up the video on a PowerMac7,3

Unfortunately, the age of your Mac and the max OS you can run is seriously inhibiting your video watching, even with the baddest video card you can get with that model. You can try downsampling videos in YouTube by changing the resolution from 1080 or 780 to 480 or 360. You may want to seriously consider upgrading.

How to install an internal hard drive (1.5 tb) on a ppc g5

there are actually extra spaces for internal drives with the proper connectors for the ribbon cable and the power cable.
Just open the side of the G5, and double check your connectors prior to purchase to be sure you get the proper type. You can connect it to the available connectors on the existing ribbon and power cable... Then boot it up and simply do a disk utilities mount and format of your drive and you're good to go.
