Question about Jandy Laars LX Pool Heater / 400,000 BTU / Natural Gas
First you need to check your pump baskets and be sure to clean your filter. If this dosn't help then you need to check inside the pump to see if you have a clog in your impeller. When you remove the basket in the pump you have to reach in the hole in the back of the pot with a screwdriver or needlenose plier to see if anything is cloging the center of the impeller. All these things will drop your pressure and stop the heater from fireing. If these things don't help then you need to pull the presure switch and make sure water is getting to it. If so then your switch may be bad. Check all the other things first, most of the time it will be one of these. Good luck.
