one of the reasons i bought this coffee maker is , it bosted all parts are replaceable, warmer plate, switche's heating element , fuse's, rocker arm. , even my older model had a design flaw with the resivoir and tbunn made a repair kit , 2 seconds to install, that unit is 9 years old and still works great, my newer one is 5 years old and needs a warmer switch, found it for $12.95, free shipping .

Had a power outage and now the warmer light doesnt come on and the water is cold. checked outlet and it is working.

This is most likely the thermal fuses on the heating elements. They are not difficult to replace but do a continuity check before the thermal fuse and the element terminal on each of the wires. You should be able get fuses from your local bunn distributor.

Most probably the relay that drives both the heating element and the warmer.

A black thing like little box (relay)that containes 8-6 wires (2 from main board and rest just go other components.)

The top burner on our bunn coffee maker is getting to hot, causing the coffee to pop, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Please advise

Bunn makes a spacer that goes on top of the burner to put space between the burner and the coffee pot, or you can make your own out of a coat hanger. The only other way to fix this is to replace the warmer plate.

I lost my directions to my bunn coffeemaker. Can you tell me how to make the first cup of coffee in a bunn? Is there just one place to pour the water? Fo you leave it plugged in all the time?

There may be a thermal cut-off switch inside that has failed. I've by-passed the switch myself, but don't recommend it. Another option is to replace the cut-off switch.
