Question about Acer Aspire 5600 Series 5630-6951 Laptop
J3 -jumper 3 might be etched on to your motherboard, but it might not be legible.
Here's an easier way:
1) power off and unplug cord from computer.
2) Look for a flat round disk (2 cm diameter) battery on the motherboard.
3) Gently pop it out of its socket.
4) Wait about 10-15 seconds and reseat it.
5) Power up computer
You should be able to get right into your BIOS and alter the settings (such as password)!
