The external flash mount (hot shoe) has a small sliver of metal which when the external flash gun is slid on pushes it down to tell the body to not use the pop-up flash and some times the sliver doesn't return fully up to contact the underside of the hotshoe
hi,well on the droide,you can try this first,,power off the phone..then remove your sd card and sim if aplicable.. then push and hold the camara button,and then push and hold the power button,in a few seconds youll see the boot screen come up.. it will give you the option to restore the phone or boot the phone. o restore ,or down to boot,try the boot first because the restore will cause you to lose your data.hopefully you have backed your contacts up..if just doing the boot dosnt work,follow these steps again to do the factory restre..If that dosnt work contact me here and ill
make sure you clean the sprayers out real good,if theres debris on the end nozzles they dont spin around too good,also pull out the little service plug that protects debris from getting in the impeller.
i found a little chunk of wood in there! im still not sure how wood ended up in the dishwasher!
1) If you hace a restore CD with drivers, look for the one related to the camera, install it and try to use the camera

2) Start-Control Panel- Add Hardware: you can let your system to lok for new hardware or let him now wich one you want to install.The 1st option can take long time.
Not sure how different the 4520 is from the 5920 that I use. I have a webcam built in and can use the camera with Skype, Live messenger or a video editing program I use.
For me I just opened those programs and clicked on the camera icon and it all worked for me.
Have you tried to use any of the above programs to see if the camera works?
I am assuming you have a built in web cam like I do.
