The DSTT is not meant for DSi. There's no way to make it work I'm afraid. I can recommend that you upgrade to the Acekard 2i. It's a strong midrange card that gets great speed and very regular updates.
If you need to upgrade to a DSi v1.4 compatible card you can get a genuine cards here http://www.dscardworld.com. All their DSi compatible cards are clearly labeled, and they test every card on an updated DSi before shipping. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.
the n5 i think only works on the DS not the DSI.
most other carts have made an updated version for the dsi.
and they were all hardware updates. so you might have to buy another one.
The DSi blocks all flashcards that were released before it. Your card is one of those blocked cards, so you can't do much except return that and buy a DSi-compatible cart online. As for the region, the DSi hasn't been hacked yet so region changing isn't possible at the moment.
DSi requires it's own compatible card. But make sure it's version 1.4 compatible otherwise it won't work either (the R4i Gold came out before the version 1.4 so it wont' work).

oh sorry didnt read your post right the first time, you have a new dsi? nintendo have been clever in not only makin the dsi region bound unlike the normal ds lite, meaning it will not play games from other regions where as the ds lite can but it does also made sure that the new dsi does not support any super card, be it the r4, dstt, n5. they are gits. the r4 ,dstt teams etc have promised to do cards that the dsi supports but dunno wen avalible yet and im guessin will cost more, sorry to let you in on this gimmick that nintendo have caused.hope this helps.
sounds like another new thing nintendo have done to screw us all up, i would suggest a dstt cart or r4 cart or summit but they dont support them eaither! either back to the shops 4 money back then buy in europe or wait until they bring thr dstt or r4 or n5 crt out which supports the dsi and go from there.
