Question about Garmin Rino 530 GPS Receiver
Garmin's GPS units are not yet detailed enough to put information from different software and have them overlay on the screen. While you can load and store info from different sources (City Navigator + Topo), only one will be displayed at a time. To select the maps you want, from the main menu select Setup-Map then scroll over to the "Info" icon. You must check the maps you want to use (e.g., Topo) and de-select anything that is of a different software. When you are ready to switch over, repeat the process by de-selecting the maps you have checked and selecting the one's you need.
For loading in Info from only one software, you must load in all info at once or you will overwrite anything you have loaded before. Let's say you loaded all of Colorado from Topo 2008 but later decided you need Wyoming as well, loading in only Wyoning the second time around will overwrite Colorado. To solve this you must select both Colorado AND Wyoming when you load so all info goes together.
I hope this helps!

You need to select all the segments at the same time and then transfer to the GPSr. Do not send one set, then another as the second set will overwrite the first set.
