Question about Husqvarna Designer I
In the accessories that came with your machine there is a little gray rubber thing that has a suction cup on each end. One is labeled "Out" and grips the bulb tightly. The other is labeled "In" and holds the bulb loosely. Fit the Out end over the bulb and pull sharply. If the suction cup slips off, put a small amount of fantastik or windex spray in the cup and clean it with a cotton swab. Then try again before it has a chance to completely dry. Pay attention to the orientation of the flat end of the bulb when it comes out so you don't have to look up into the hole to see if it goes side to side or up and down. You may need to pull the contact wires slightly away from the glass envelope to hold it in securely so that the bulbs don't blink on and off while sewing. Also remember that there is a bulb next to the needle and another in the throat area. If one burns out they will both go off. Just replace both bulbs and you shouldn't have to worry about them for a long time.
