How do you get the bottom panel under the door of the dryer off? It looks like there are clips of some sort there, but can't remove or move the clips enough to remove the door? please give step by step...

Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair works.

The bottom front panel is secured to bottom of the top front panel by two securing clips. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver between the top front panel and the bottom front panel as shown then pry the panel out then lift it off the cabinet.

Install the bottom of the bottom front panel first when reinstalling then push the top back into position until the clips engage.

How do I remove the front panel from my kenmore 80 series dryer to replace ignitor?

Either you have to pry the top up with a wide flat screw driver or two screws at the very bottom of the front panel. Whichever it needs to be done the other end will be hooked in place. make sure you remove door switch wires before taking front panel off all the way. Good Luck

Removal of front cabinet panel of washer section

Should be two screws on each side of the bottom of the front panel. Takes those out and push the panel up and out. (There are two "tabs?" in the middle of the front panel that lock into the side panels, so you have to push up and then pull out.)

Front cover of my kenmore dryer

Assuming the two top inside screws have been removed, grasp each side of the front panel, slightly tilt away from cabinet and lift up. (may have to rock back and forth a little)

Kenmore dryer help?

Sounds like motor is stalled. Remove the lint filter, look inside down toward the bottom left corner at the blower wheel. Something may be jammed in the blower wheel. If difficult to see, TURN OFF POWER TO MACHINE, remove bottom access panel. 2 to 3 screws on bottom of panel. Remove lint housing (3 to 4 screws) and inspect blower wheel for debris.
