Re: Have a Nokia 6030 phone. Need the PUK code, I'm
Hi, if your phone is asking for the PUK code then what this means is that the sim card has gone into protection mode and you need to enter the 11 digit code to give you access to your sim card again.
Now if you have had the phone and sim card from new then the PUK code would have been written on the card the sim card was attatched to if how ever you dont have this then all you need to do is contact your service provider and give them your phone number.
This is the only way you can get the PUK code as each sim card made has its very own PUK code and the only people who have access to this code is your service provider.
They wont charge for telling you the code so just give them a call and you will get given the code just write it down for future reference, the code will only work with the sim card thats asking for the code.
If you get the code wrong more than 5 times then the sim card will be no good and you wont be able to get it unlocked.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times, This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...
if you provide PUK code wrongly for 10 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM
NOTE: You should ask your service provider, get the PUK,
HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin . If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider(CINGULAR) which is specific for each and every mobile number . Donot try PUK code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim. Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no. Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you. There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.
You Heading is that the Phone asks for the PUK Code.
If it is so, then you need to contact the Service Providers, because its a SIM Dependent Code, you will call them, they will confirm your ownership (of the SIM Card) and will tell you your PUK Code.
The Master reset will not solve your problem IF it is about PUK Code.
Sounds like the phone has been restricted (SIM-locked) to some other operator/carrier. Try with a Hard Reset, if same then You
need to find out which operator's SIM cards it is locked to, and call
their customer service to have it unlocked (they may charge for the
code, if it is still under contract to them).
Best of Luck. Please rank me appropriately. If you want any clarification, Please get back to me
