I downloaded the software but wen m testin its sayin "no video to capture" why is this?
Hello,
Install the drivers/Cd for the LifeCam, after the installation, insert the life cam into your system and the system should automatically install the life cam since the Cd/drivers is already installed.
Or, insert the Life cam, into the system and allow it ask for drivers before installing.
If after all these and it stil does not work, then you will have to test the life cam with another computer so as to be sure where the problem is coming from.
If it install on another computer, then maybe your operating system is the one giving the problem and that mean you will have to re-run your operating system (Vista/Xp).
And if the Life cam does not work on another computer, that means the fault is from the life cam. In this case, you will have to take it for repairs or get another one.
Take care
Hi,
Try plugging the webcam in the computer first and see what it brings up then reinstall the driver again…
1. Disconnect camera from USB port
2. Remove driver by: right click on 'My Computer', 'manage', 'device manager', right click on the 'uninstall'....
3. Reboot/restart
4. Ignore popup box
5. Install driver from driver disk or file
6. Reboot/restart
7. Connect camera
8. Test using MSN audio/video tuning wizard
