Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

My nintendo ds says the data could not be read please turn off the power and reinsert the ds card. How do I fix this?Thais happens on all ds games that I insert. Please keep in mind that this is a counterfeit ds, I was dooped by an ebay retailer.

this happens to me quite a lot my solution is to turn the power off take out the game card and blow really hardly into where the game goes in and put the game but in if it still does not work then try the same process with the game card. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

do you used flash card ?
if you do, my you should upgrade your firmware
for example if you use r4, just go to http://r4ds.cn/download/ and choose the latest firmware

have you tried deleting data? if so, and it didnt work, it probably corrupted. this happened to me. i left the game alone for a few days and retried it. it worked after that

Trying taking out the battery for 15 seconds, replace it and then turn the game on again? also try another game first, to see if its a problem with the actual console.

I have found that in these cases the game is faulty. Especially if other games work fine in your DS. Try returning the game at the retailer you got it from, failing that, I have had success with writing to the publisher of the game (it is a LONG process) but I ended up getting a few free games in the mix as well.
