I think that's a sign of the screen being damaged.

Hope this helps!

My hp nx9030 laptop shows yellow on the battery and plue when I turn it on by nothing else happens the screen is blank and the fan does not turn on either. Please help

If it works when you have the ac plugged in ..it means the battery is dead or the contacts with your battery are faulty ..
try to plug it and see if it works without the battery ..It may be the case of a shorted battery and will not work with it plugged in ..

How can i reformat hp compaq nx9030 without the cd

In almost every prebuilt computer there is something called a recovery partition. All you need to do is boot off this and you can reinstall windows. To boot off it, look for something along the lines of "Select Boot Device" on the screen when you restart your computer. There should be an F key next to it. Restart your computer and press that F key. Then select the recovery partition which will be labeled or will be the smallest. Once this loads up follow the on screen instructions and you will be on your way to reinstalling windows and formatting your computer. Be sure to back up everything before doing this as it will erase all the files that you currently have on that hard drive.

Hp nx9030 monitor need to be brite pls help

By the sounds of it your backlight has failed on the TFT ( screen ) could be just an inverter problem - can be fixed by any tech with a new inverter ( located within the lower section on the screen bezel ) Take it to a computer tech and get it replaced.
