Maybe you need to press the Num lk (number lock) key at the top of the keyboard, then Press and Hold the FN function key at the lower left portion of the keyboard then hit the number key you want..

Nothing works keyboard locked ? please help on-screen keyboard only

Hello Friend, Hold shift down both left and right shift key at the same time (do this for several seconds), it somehow solved the problem. Hopefully that fixed the issue. Also, go to control panel, click on accessibility options..in the keyboard tab, click on the settings buttons for sticky keys, filter keys and toggle keys and deselect the option to use shortcut.
Hope this Helped you..Thanks for Using FixYa..

Trying to toggle from blue keys to white keys

Hi,

You have to hold the shift key down and then hit the question mark key.

In the picture above the key is white but most of them are black. There are 2 shift keys at either ends of the keyboard with the trade mark up arrows on them.

Regards.

My number keys arent working because i was hold shift for more than eight seconds the a message popped up then i clicked ok

Try holding down the shift key again for 8 seconds and read the window to cancel the filter keys.

As for your numbers not working, there is a NumLock [number lock] key on your keyboard. Try hitting that and see if your numbers work.

Hope this helps.

Acer aspire 3003wcli keyboard stopped responding

You probably activated the "Num Lock" accidently. Just hold down the FN and look for the key that says "num lock" Now you should have your keyboard back and the numbers will just type when you hit the numbers key. I did this to myself yesterday!

Alternate keys on HP Keyboard

Activate:

Ctrl + fn + right shift key

Deactivate:

Ctrl + fn + right shift key twice

so hold ctrl + fn + right shift key then release the right shift key but keep holding the ctrl + fn keys down then push the right shift key again and that should deactivate it

Hotkey mode

This just worked for me. Using your PC keyboard, boot up to the PC first and then power up your mac. Hit the scroll lock twice and IMMEDIATELY hit enter. You have to go fast- click-click-click with no hesitation and it works great. I still can't toggle the hot keys to set up my mac keyboard, which I prefer using, but I'm assuming it takes the "right" timing on the keys. I'll keep trying.

Good luck!
