You can turn on tv and both lights are green. Top left corner of the tv says no signal. Sometimes the tv will shut itself off and the tv only, goes to red light. Unable to get picture and sound. I've ran a whole new cable line direct and still same problem. I've tested another tv and cable line works fine.??? Any suggestions? Philips TV model 42FD9954 and E Box model is FTR9965.
Thank you for any help!!
Comment by dsjbk, posted on Jul 31, 2007 I have taken the monitor and the e-box to a repair shop. Found out so far the monitor is good. The problem seems to be the E-box.
They are trying to find out what in the box has gone bad. No signal!!

SOURCE: Phillips FTR9965 / 12s
The no signal message is there because the screen is waiting for a signal from the receiver, it then switches into protection mode (flashing red). The usual cause is a blown protection fuse inside the receiver.
