Question about LG 32LC7D Television
Was on my computer using my 32' 32lc7d as a monitor through hdmi. After a half hour the screen started to flicker, then flicker faster, then went out. Sound is still working, with green light still on. I turned off the tv. minutes later turned it on. immediately i checked all inputs and they were fine. after a minute, the same process started over again. Letting the unit turn off and cool again then starting it up again, and it lasts a bit longer this time. Is there a specific part that is overheating that needs to be replaced? Does the tv have fans?
There are no fans in this model but it looks like either the backlights in the screen are breaking down after they have warmed up or a problem in the inverter board, again part of the driver circuit breaking down after a period of time. They inverter boards can sometimes be replaced seperatly but usually come with a new screen which if the backlights are at fault then the screen would need to be replaced.
