Question about Computers & Internet
SCREEN FREEZES ON TOSHEBA SATELLITE LAP TOP CAN BE GOT TO WORK IF THE SCREEN IS MOVED ABOUT , BEEN TOLD ITS A SMALL CABLE AT FAULT IF SO IS IT A POSSIBLE D I Y FIX
If you move your laptop screen to were it works sometimes and doest work other, it sounds like it could have a loose connection in the ribbon cable. Most laptop lcd screens are connected to the main board through a brown looking ribbon cable. if this cable has become loosened, then yes it can be a DIY type job.
if you attempt to take the laptop apart, i sugguest you keep a record of what type screws go where.
