The Facebook web servers may be experiencing a heavy user load right now, so be patient! Wait a few minutes then try to log back in. I've had the same problems before.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I try to read my posts from Facebook from my inbox. It always makes me log in to my Facebook page before I can read my posts.

This is correct. The posts you get in your Inbox are only Notifications (which can be turned on or off). To read the actual posts or respond to them you need to login to your Facebook account.

Tip

Can't Log In to Facebook

Facebook works on two very simple things.

The full email address that your registered with them. This is the one you get your notifications to when someone tags you or you get replies to your posts.

The password associated to that particular account.

If you forget your password, you can click the FORGOT PASSWORD link and a reset will be emailed to you using that registered email address.

Someone may have taken over your account, but that can only happen if you gave someone your log in details, or if you responded to a fraudulent phishing email and you went to a site that LOOKED like Facebook and you gave your information to 'Verify' your account.

You can search for people of your name and if you see a few, keep clicking LOAD MORE, until the name becomes mixed with different surnames or Christian names to yours. Go to Facebook and without trying to log in, put your name in the search box. When you find yourself, log in with your full email address associated with the account and password. If the password doesn't get you in, click FORGOT PASSWORD.

I am using another persons computer and i can not log in to my own facebook account,

If your friend uses stored names and passwords, Facebook is probably responding to those. If it logs in to your friend's page, log out and then log in again with your own info.

How to acess my facebook page on another users computer

Hi,

To access your Facebook account on another Facebook user's computer, you will first have to log out of that person's Facebook account.

To logout of the first account, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

After successfully logging out of the first account, kindly enter your login email and password in the box provided on Facebook login page to open your Facebook page.

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Facebook doesn`t want to open.

Hi, their have been several posts about facebook on this site in the last 30min, what the problem is is facebook are having some downtime and servicing their site, you usually get this problem when they have downtime or if the site is very busy.

one thing you can do is turn your computer off then back on just to make sure that your computer is not doing any updates then wait at least 30min then try logging back into facebook.

you are not the only one having this problem so just bare with facebook its a problem their end and not a problem your end, i will try and contact facebook now and see if they have any downtime or if their just busy, if i get a reply ill post a message back to you and others who are having the same problem as you

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Trying to create a business facebook page.

What you are talking about is a facebook profile. It is against the Facebook TOS to create profiles (accounts) that are not of real people or to have multiple accounts. However you can create a page which works almost the same as an account (it has a wall, etc) but people become FANs of the page rather than friends. You can run your page from your personal account on facebook and the two will remain distinct (separate).
