Question about RIM BlackBerry 7290
I just purchased a blackberry 7290,was suppose to be new,I have tmobile service and this phone has the tmobile logo, but will not accept my sim card,on the network it says cingular, can you help????
I think your phone still locked for cingular provider and you must unlock it before you can use your t-mobile sim card. To unlock blackberry 7290 network from cingular you will need a blackberry unlock code. This code can be obtained from cingular or purchased at third party sites for lower cost.

Like you being with T-mobile, I bought a cingular phone off ebay that wasn't unlock. My sims didn't work either. My network just said call Cingular which is now AT&T and they gave me the MEP code to unlock it. Beware, you need to confirm all of your information from your network before they will help you.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
