Question about GE Profile Stainless Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Internal Dispenser 22.2 Cu. Ft. - PFS22SIS
I have a ge profile model # PDS22SHRBRSS and a week ago had to replace main board a day ago it began acting up again like before . I bought a mainboard WR55X10942 and instructions said to cut a few wires on my refrigerator ...well i didnt end up doing cause it worked fine do you think this is why the frige isnt working now
Yes, you have to cut the wiring as the instructions stated. Not all the models have to have wiring cut, so read carefully to see if yours is one that needs to have the wiring cut. If it is not, then you have another problem, and you will have to let us know what the origional problem was before you replaced the board. If your model requires cutting, you may have damaged the main board by not doing this. Unplug the refer and follow the instructions carefully and test to see if it works. Good luck, Appliance Specialists.
