Question about Timex Watches
Have a Seth Thomas 8-day ships clock recently repaired. Repairer told me to intially set the correct time by moving the minute hand in a clockwise motion. For 25 years, I've moved the minute hand in a counter clockwise motion to set the time. Which is the correct technique?
Correct technique definitely is CLOCKWISE ONLY. You are unbelievably lucky person if did not damage striking mechanism within 25 years while adjusting hands anti clockwise. If I'd have such a luck, I'd try to play lottery. :))
